What Can 1Click DVD Copy Pro Do - Reasonable Expectations?

In a nutshell, 1Click DVD Copy Pro DVD burning and DVD copy software makes copies of DVD movies. That is, it copies an original DVD movie to a blank DVD.

More specifically, 1Click DVD Copy Pro can copy any DVD movie formatted as DVD-5 or the high-capacity DVD-9 Dual Layered DVD movie discs. It can make an exact copy of the original without compression. For example, if your original DVD movie is on a 4.7GB DVD-5 disc, then 1 Click DVD Copy Pro can perform a bit by bit block by block copy of it onto a blank 4.7GB DVD disc.

If your original DVD movie is on a Dual Layered 7.9GB disc, then 1Click DVD Copy Pro can perform a bit by bit block by block copy of it onto a blank 7.9GB DVD disc. Thus, your copy will be an exact replica of the original.

If you which to copy a Dual Layered DVD-9 onto a smaller capacity DVD-5 blank DVD, 1Click DVD Copy Pro can do this as well. It is important to understand that in order for this to be accomplished, the larger must be squeezed on to the smaller. To do this, the video and audio component on the larger DVD-9 DVD must be compressed in order to fit onto top the smaller 4.7GB blank DVD disc.

Whenever, compression is involved, there will be some loss in video and audio quality. What you end up with is near-DVD quality. Most of us do not fret over this as near-DVD quality is still pretty good.

One of the greatest features of 1Click DVD Copy Pro is that it has Copy Preset settings that make performing any of the tasks described above possible with a click of a mouse. You also have full control over the copied DVD as you are given other options to further customize your DVD copy.

1Click DVD Copy Pro employs CPRx which gets around the garbage sectors that DVD movie manufacturers now place on DVDs to prevent them from copying properly.

At present, 1Click DVD Copy Pro does not copy Blu-ray disc. I suspect that is on it's way. As far as I am concerned, this is the best DVD to DVD copy program available and has a long development history. That means that it has been around long enough to have the bugs worked out making it stable application as well as one that produces great DVD movie copies.

Test Platform

We downloaded, installed, and tested 1Click DVD Copy Pro DVD burning and DVD copy software to run on two test computers. One computer was "Home-Brewed" with an Athlon AMD 64 X2 4800 Dual-Core processor running at 2.4GHz, 1GB of memory, 100GB hard drive, and a Sony DRU-510A DVD/RW drive 32X (CD) and 12X (DVD). The other computer, a Gateway E06500D, with an Intel Pentium(R) running at 3GHz, 1GB of memory, 100GB hard drive, and a Plextor PX-708A DVD/RW drive (40X (CD) and 12X (DVD).
 

Test Results

The installation was flawless on both test computers. The original DVD movie was "Pirates of the Caribbean, The Curse of the Black Pearl" (2003). The movie runtime was 143 minutes. We elected to put 1Click DVD Copy Pro feature set to the test and selected from the handy "Copy Preset" menu the option that included the Movie Only feature. Upon inserting the original DVD movie and pressing the "Start" button, 14 minutes lapsed until we were prompted to insert blank DVD media. The DVD movie burning process was just under 8 minutes. We then inserted the copied DVD movie in our DVD player and the copy quality was that of the original..

At program launch we were presented with a slick GUI interface like shown below.

Next, we inserted the Pirates of the Caribbean DVD. 1Click DVD Copy Pro  DVD burning and DVD copy software quickly scanned in the DVD. We also noticed an array of options at our finger tips. We elected to use the Copy Preset menu to copy the Movie Only. We left everything else at their default settings.

We clicked the Start button to start the process.

Transcoding Process

After approximately 14 minutes, we were prompted to insert a blank DVD. The program automatically resumed and began the DVD burning/writing process.

When the process was completed, a 1Click DVD Copy Pro dialog box reported the process was successful and ejected the copied DVD.

1Click DVD Copy Pro DVD burning and DVD copy software from start to finish produced a high-quality DVD in 22 minutes. Not bad for a movie that has a runtime of 143 minutes.

Results

Pros

We really like 1Click DVD Copy Pro DVD burning and DVD copy software for many reasons. The user interface was "gorgeous" and well laid out. We found it easy to navigate. The software ran without a hitch. The feature set included everything one would need for customizing the final DVD Copy product.

The software is truly 1Click technology and sets the standard for all DVD Movie copy products.

Quality of Copy

The final copy was an exact replica of the original. A blindfold test could not tell the difference. You really have to see and experience this for yourself to appreciate the quality of the copied DVD.
 

Customer/Technical Support

We Emailed LG Software Innovations during normal working hours just to see how quickly they would respond. Within an hour, a response was received. Their website has an excellent customer support system in place as well as an excellent forum.
