Test Platform
We downloaded, installed, and tested
1Click DVD Movie
to run on two test computers. One computer was "Home-Brewed" with an
Athlon AMD 64 X2 4800 Dual-Core processor running at 2.4GHz, 1GB of
memory, 100GB hard drive, and a Sony DRU-510A DVD/RW drive 32X (CD)
and 12X (DVD). The other computer, a Gateway E06500D, with an Intel
Pentium(R) running at 3GHz, 1GB of memory, 100GB hard drive, and a
Plextor PX-708A DVD/RW drive (40X (CD) and 12X (DVD).
Test Results
The installation was flawless on both
test computers. We were prompted to re-boot after installation which
was not a major annoyance. For our test, we selected a full
length 142 minute DivX movie file "The Shawshank Redemption"
and a 111 minute full-length MPEG movie file "StarWars Episode 3
Revenge of the Sith" which has a runtime of 140 minutes..
At program launch we were presented with
a dialog box prompting us that if we wanted to change the default
settings ...

... to click on the View Options (+) button in the upper
left-hand corner of the control panel.

Default Control Panel Settings
The Shawshank Redemption Project (a DivX Movie File)
In the Menu Title, we entered the name of
the movie title "The Shawshank Redemption". If you enter a Menu
Title do so BEFORE you navigate to the movie file.
This movie was a Divx file so we selected
the Movie option. We used the Source button to bring the
Divx file into the control panel. In a manner of seconds, 1Click DVD
Movie quickly scanned the movie file. See below:

Inserted Blank DVD and Pressed Start
We left all other settings at default.
Then we inserted blank DVD media and pressed the Start button.

The Transcoding Process (Divx to DVD)
Upon completion,
1Click DVD Movie
will eject the finished DVD product.

Operation Completion
StarWars Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith Project (an MPEG Movie
File)
Next, we ran through the entire process
again this time using an MPEG movie file. We navigated to the Starwars
movie file and imported it into the
1Click DVD Movie
control panel. It quickly scanned it in. We entered a movie name in
the Menu Title and pressed the Start
button.

Pros
1Click DVD Movie
measured up well under our test conditions and ran without a hitch.
Firstly, the user interface was very easy to use. For the most part all we
had to do was navigate to our source movie file, insert a blank DVD, and
click the start button. That was it. As our test results show, we had a
DVD movie in 51 minutes for the DivX movie file and a DVD in 55
minutes for the MPEG file tested. Both produced an excellent DVD movie
product that played well in our DVD player.
1Click DVD Movie
is truly "1Click".
Cons
None noted.
Quality of Copy
The final copy was an exact replica of
the original. Your copy is only as good as the original movie file.
Customer/Technical Support
We Emailed
LG Software Innovations
during normal working hours just to see how quickly they would
respond. Within an hour, a response was received. Their website has an
excellent customer support system in place as well as an excellent
forum.
